My year in year 4-2014

Hi my name is Ty and I am the 2nd fastest in
our class.

At the start of the year I felt hungus because we had too many people in our class.

My learning goals I have met are in maths. When I achieved maths I started working on reading because at first I couldn't be bothered to answer any questions for our reading tasks.  But now I'm good at it!
I've learnt how to be sensible with other people and to create some cool blog posts. We have made many blogs about things we do at school.

The friendships I have made are with Scott, Luti and Sonny Bull. I know how to be kind and how to take care of my little brother.

My favourite adjectives are cool, fancy and blue shiny car.

The biggest challenge for me this year was in cross country and kiwidex.

My writing goals for next year are to get better at concluding words and my capital letters.

My behaviour next year is going to be siting with other people and play sensible.

Blasting fire works

Blazing, boosting, boom!

Ohh yeah … oh look at those fire works.

Night noise and can't go to sleep.

Family pack is colourful.

Interesting fire works.

Rockets Boom! Rocks the world.

Even bad like the moon striker.

Nom nom … toasted marshmellows are crunchy.

Interesting colourful sparks shoot out of the the roman candles.

Guy forks are the best.

High in the air like a bird.

Time zone is the best fire works ever.

the sinking titanic

Hi my name is Ty Tuaiti and I am going to tell you all about the sinking titanic. Did you know! 

That the titanic was longer then 3 foot ball fields. 

The titanic could carry more than 100 people on the long shiny ship. The crew on the ship were the coal people and the captains. When the titanic hit the edge of the ice-berg, the titanic started to crack and sink right to the bottom of the sea.

That 1st class was the fancy class and 2nd class was the medium cool people and finally the 3rd class were where the cabin rooms were.

Scariest Halloween Ever

On Friday all of my family went trick or treating along Dawson road. Halloween is the day that you dress up. We all got some lollies from our next-door neighbour and we were surprised.

When we went to one spooky house, it was coloured blue like the sky. When this little girl opened the door she got scared because I was dressed up like a vampire and my mum was dressed up like a princess and my dad was dressed up like a king and my brothers were dressed up like zombies.

After that me and my family took a photo because we all looked famous. Next we all had a treat from my cousin's house and we got money from my nice cousins.

Then we went to the shops and we got some lollies from each shelf. Next we all went to kmart because we wanted to get some lollies because people might come to our door and say trick or treat. Suddenly, we saw my poor dad sleeping on the bus stop chair. 

We went home and we all ate some lollies.When we were eating our lollies we watched scary movies. We also ate some popcorn because that's the only thing that I eat when scary movies come on. I watched Minter Beach on cartoon network.

I hope you saw some scary stuff on halloween night.

Going ice-skating and Carl's jr

On Friday, I went ice-skating for my holiday programme in Botany.

First we had morning tea. In my lunch box I saw an apple, a drink, a banana and two packets of chips.

Suddenly, the apple was finished because I was so hungry. The apple tasted like it was rotten but when I looked at it there was nothing rotten about it.

Finally, we got to go for a skate. When I went onto the ice I felt cold and I thought I was going to get sick. 

I could smell some hot chips so went off to eat. When I went to go and get some cooked hot chips I felt warm and I wanted to stay out of the rink but the staff shouted, "GO AND EAT ON THE TABLE!"

Afterwards, when we went on the bus, we all went to sleep. When I woke up our parents were there waiting for us.

Before we went home we went to Carls Junior to pick up some delicious Hershey's Pies! Yum!

In term three room 11 started our Art exhibition. Here are some pictures of Room 11 starting our city landscapes. Room 11 are now working on our final piece of art.This took us a long time to keep practising and practising our beautiful art.

Crazy monkeys at jump jam!

In the morning Room 11 walked over to the Jump Jam aerobics area and Miss Zeier asked me, Ty and Luti to go up and do jump jam. Miss Zeier told us that we have to do the dance '5678' like crazy monkey's!

In the morning, the senior school always get pumped up for the day with Jump Jam aerobics!

Miss Zeier chose some of our class to be the leaders! We did the car wash song and during the 'washing' bit, we were doing moves like the duggie and it was funny! I made silly faces.

Shortly after that, we did "I'm a believer from the movie Shrek and my favorite bit was when we walked up like we were really cool and shimmied our shaking shouders back.

The last dance we did was Superstar! It was cool because you get to do your own pose. We did ninja's and supermen.

The magical duck pond

WOW! Look at these geese swimming along in the beautiful duck pond. I notice the birds have fluffy feathers like a hairy dog.
I see people feeding the hungry birds bread. Look at these beautiful flowers in the amazing gardens. I hate the scary bird feathers scattered everywhere on the grass.
I smell fresh food and can hear people's tummies rumbling. The birds are chirping. I hear birds splashing in the magical duck pond.
I think people are shivering because it is freezing outside. I think the birds are very happy that they got feed from the kind people.
Finally, me and my family can go and have our own feend and a great time at McDonalds for dinner.

Queensland game

On Sunday me and my family watched the Queensland game. We ate until the game started. While we were eating, finally the game started!

When the game started I was yeling loud. My dad was excited and he yelled, "LET'S GO QUEENS LAND!" When I saw Queensland get a try, I put on my t-shirt!

                                             

Amazing warriors game

On Sunday me and my family went to the amazing warriors game. When we got there we had to go to gate B and when we went in we had to pay our tickets to go in the warriors game. We went in and we went to our seats.

 We went off and we went to go and play some amazing games. I got the rugby ball in the hole and I won a mouth guard and a drink bottle and my brother got a double pass to go to the movies with my family and me. When I went to go and paint my face the game was starting but suddenly the game started and I got there in time.

My favourite player is Sean Johnson. Later on we went to go and eat at McDOnalds. I had a fantastic day!

A moment in time...

One of my most favourite moments in time is when my sister had a baby girl. When I first saw her, she had green eyes and I can smell baby powder. I was asked to taste my nieces bottle to check if it was warm. The milk tasted funny! My sister's baby screamed loud and she was crying as well. I love holding her and she has such tiny feet and tiny hands. My nieces name is Aloma and I love her very much!

May the luck of the Irish be with you all!!

Last term we studied other cultures! This year our syndicate did loads of inquiry into the beautiful country of Ireland and fantastic St Patricks Day celebrations! The Irish have some fantastic myths and legends! They even have their own version of the classical Cinderella story!! Here are a few pictures!
