My time in year 4!

At the start of the year I felt very nervous because I didn't know the teachers.

Friendships I've made this year: Sonny Bull, Ty, Scott and Henley because they were my friends last year.

My favourite activities this year were going to AFL, Coach Paris and going to music.

Biggest challeges...

My biggest challenges were in cross country and kicking the ball in AFL.

Academic goals for next year...

My goals for next year will be good and sit next to good people like Reko.

Blazing fireworks

Ohh look!  Colourful fireworks.

Even the bad boys are loud.

Bang! Bang! Fireworks everywhere.

Night of the fireworks.

In the night …  fireworks booming around.

Rockets flying everywhere.

Now thats loud.

I like the kaboom noise.

The Titanic

Hi my name is Luti and I am going to tell you all about the Titanic.

The Titanic ship was going out for it's first voyage.

The Titanic ship was the largest ship in the world.

The Titanic ship had sunk down because there was a huge iceberg.

The ship sunk to the bottom of the ocean and the ship became very old and ugly.

Captain Edward Smith

On the day that the titanic ship was going for it's first voyage, the Captain was going to retire.

Captain Edward Smith was a good captain on the ship and he was very famous back then. Captain Edward Smith had white hair and he wore a black and white suit and a black tie.

The iceberg

The iceberg was a very huge block of ice. An iceberg shows a  little on the top of the water but below the sea the ice is very huge. The huge iceberg is what destroyed the Titanic ship.

My Halloween weekend

On Friday it was Halloween. Halloween is a special day for us. Halloween is a day where we dress up. On Halloween night we can dress up as anything we want to be. On Halloween people and kids go to people's house and knock on the door and say trick or treat and when they say trick or treat the people give your lollies or treats like cookies. 

People came to my house and they said trick or treat then my mum gave them some lollies. When it was trick or treating day I dressed up as a vampire and had fake sharp teeth with fake blood on it. I had a bag to put my lollies in when I go to people's house. I went with some kids to people's houses to get some lollies off them. Some of my friends were dressed like wizards.

White Sunday

In the holidays, me, my cousin and my nana went to white Sunday at the Otara Wardens. When we were there I saw a train going round and round heaps of times picking up little kids and taking them for a ride.

At the White Sunday service there were paint facing and balloon activities. When I saw paint facing I painted my face as a spider web. There was also this magician man and he did some magic.

When it was finished we went back home and had a nice sleep.

Jump Jam!

In the morning, Room 11 walked over to the courts to do jump jam. Miss Zeier chose me and Sonny bull to lead. The first song we did  was 5678. Me, Sonny bull and Ty were dancing very crazy like monkeys.

The second song we danced to  was car wash. During the car wash dance, it was like we were washing a real car! When we were dancing to car wash we weren't actually washing a car, we were rubbing each others back's, moving and grooving!

When we moved on to the next song (Shrek - Believer) we  danced hard out on that one because that was our last song.

When we finished Jump Jam, me, Sonny bull and Ty were all puffed out.

Crazy monkeys at jump jam!

In the morning Room 11 walked over to the Jump Jam aerobics area and Miss Zeier asked me, Ty and Luti to go up and do jump jam. Miss Zeier told us that we have to do the dance '5678' like crazy monkey's!

In the morning, the senior school always get pumped up for the day with Jump Jam aerobics!

Miss Zeier chose some of our class to be the leaders! We did the car wash song and during the 'washing' bit, we were doing moves like the duggie and it was funny! I made silly faces.

Shortly after that, we did "I'm a believer from the movie Shrek and my favorite bit was when we walked up like we were really cool and shimmied our shaking shouders back.

The last dance we did was Superstar! It was cool because you get to do your own pose. We did ninja's and supermen.

The magical duck pond

My mum took us to a magical duck pond! That was my first time seeing a duck! Can you believe it?
I could see people having fun across the pond.
I could smell sizzling sausages and people having family barbecues with each other. I could hear people having fun with their friends and cute little  babies crying out very loud.
I think that the ducks were very happy because they were being fed by children with delicious bread.
I enjoyed meeting the ducks. I hope to visit them again soon.

Racing cars!Brrrrmmm!

Do you know what a racing car is? If you don't,  I will tell you all about them.

A racing car is a type of car that races with other racing cars. The top speed for this racing car is 380KM. A racing car has gears inside it and racing cars are colourful.

When they race, the driver always wears a helmet. A racing car has a plate number at the back and at the front.

A racing car has a number on the side of the racing car.

Mysteriously cool missionaries

In my cool weekend, two missionaries came to my nana's house and talked to me about  getting baptised on Friday the 8th of August. They told me if I pray everyday they will give me a lolly. The cool missionaries gave me a book of Mormon stories and I read the book of Mormon stories every night with my mum. When I get tired  I close the book of Mormon and I pray.
