Do not face your head to the window because the glass will crack on your face. Watch out and listen out for a tsunami warning because there could be big waves coming that you may not survive but ... there is only one thing that is safe to do and that is to go on something high enough to keep you away from the water.
A mountain or tree or a roof is safe.
